CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEES
The Board of Education supports the concept of ad hoc advisory committees to assist in reaching the best possible decisions.
The Board of Education may appoint an Advisory Committee to fulfill a specific purpose. The Board will clearly define the committee's purpose and will provide guidelines for study, discussion and reporting procedures.
In general, the Board of Education will form Advisory Committees when it needs community participation and consultation. The committee will be dissolved when it has completed its assignments or at the discretion of the Board.
