ADMINISTRATIVE VACANCIES

Recruitment and Selection Procedures

Application for administrative vacancies will be solicited from the following:

  1. On-line services, such as CTREAP.
  2. Association literature and selected organizations.
  3. Career counseling and placement offices at private and public colleges and universities.
  4. Administrators and local L. E. A.s

Applications will be screened by a committee made up of Board members and administrators, following an adopted scoring rubric. The group of highest scoring candidates will be invited to interview. An expanded committee including teachers and members of the community will score first round interviewees following an adopted scoring rubric. The group of highest scoring candidates will be invited to a second interview. The committee will score second round interviewees following an adopted scoring rubric. Two or three finalists will be selected for final interviews by the Board and the Superintendent.
