LITCHFIELD SCHOOL BUILDING COMMITTEE

LITCHFIELD INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL LIBRARY

OCTOBER 5, 2006

A Meeting of the Litchfield School Building Committee was held on Thursday, October 5, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the Litchfield Intermediate School Library.

Present Were:  Jack Healy, Chairman, Bob Blazek, Mac Bramley, Gary Waugh and Bill Buckley.

Also Present:  BOE Members, Peg Perusse, Business Manager, BOS Members Leo Paul,

Louis Rosenblatt, O & G Industires

Approval of Minutes

Jack Healy made a Motion  to approve the minutes  of the September 21, 2006 meeting.  Motioned was by seconded by Mac Bramley.  All were in the affirmative.  There were no abstentions.

Public Participation

Communication problem exists since the Minutes are no longer available on the web site.  Would like to see the minutes back on the web-site using a portion of the budget for that purpose.

Tony Crowe, Athletic Director, would like to have a decision on the gymnasium.  Students are unable to practice.

Gary Waugh announced that the Board of Education meeting is going forward on Wednesday, 10/11/2006 at 6pm.  It would be a good idea to prepare questions in advance.  Meeting is an opportunity to foster better communications.

Communication

Email from Lynn Chapman containing a list of potential project enhancements.  A motion was made to add to the agenda the list of potential projects and was seconded by Gary Waugh.  All in favor. Motion carried. There were no abstentions.
