SPECIAL MEETING
LITCHFIELD INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL CONFERENCE ROOM
MARCH 29, 2006
A special meeting of the Litchfield Schools Building Committee was held on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 7:00 PM in the Litchfield Intermediate School Conference Room.
Present were: Jack Healy, Chairman, Mac Bramley, Bill Buckley, Kent Gilyard, Stacie Kavle, Jeff Zullo and Gary Waugh.
Also Present: Louis Rosenblatt, O&G Project Manager, Cynthia Politano, Finance Director and Peg Perusse, Business Manager.
Meeting was called to order at 7:10 PM by Jack Healy.
Discussion of Invoices
Louis Rosenblatt explained that many of the requisitions for payment are for three months due to paperwork issues with contractors. He passed out a listing of all requisitions for payment to be reviewed and approved at this meeting as appropriate. He also discussed the enhancements that he is making to the Cost Control Reports.

There was discussion regarding a possible letter from the chairman through O&G to contractors regarding the use of correct forms. Gary Waugh motioned that a letter be sent to all contractors explaining that no further payments will be made unless the applications are submitted on the correct form – G702 CMa. Seconded by Jeff Zullo. All voted aye.
Bill Buckley suggested that we receive lien waivers with all applications for payment. Presently, we have first tier waivers and should consider going to lower tiers. Louis Rosenblatt said that he would get these in order. Bill Buckley motioned to authorized the chair to work with O&G to advise all contractors to supply lower tier lien waivers for all subcontractors and vendors with each payment application. Seconded by Gary Waugh. All voted aye.
Bill Buckley motioned to authorize the chair to work with O&G to ensure that contractors supply a list of all subcontractors and vendors to the CM. Seconded by Gary Waugh. All voted aye.
Motion to adjourn was made by Bill Buckley at 8:35 PM, seconded by Mac Bramley. All voted aye.
