Dear Families,

I hope you are enjoying the nice weather and the longer days. 

Things start to get busier this time of year, so it is important to check the calendar, notices and constant contacts for upcoming events.  Students will be going on field trips and grade level plays will begin soon

Last week we welcomed our new kindergarten students and their parents for orientation. 

The students engaged in activities with our kindergarten teachers and specialists while I spoke to parents with Miss Nobes, Mrs. DeFiore and Mrs. Cook.  It was nice to see their wide eyes and eager little faces as they were introduced to our kindergarten teachers.

As we continue to focus on school safety, we ask that you continue to be vigilant when you approach the main doors to be buzzed in.   Safety is also our priority when students are picked up at the end of the day.  Please use the crosswalk when picking up your child even if the buses have not yet arrived.   The bus lanes can get busy very quickly, and drivers are expecting to see students and their parents crossing only in the crosswalk.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
