Dear Parents and Guardians,

 

I would like to take this opportunity to share with you recent developments in LIS’ Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiative.  At the April 3 Board of the Education meeting, the Board of Education voted to retract LIS’ recent decision allowing students to bring their own electronic devices to school for academic use.   Therefore, we are reverting to our former policy not allowing electronic devices from home to be used in the classroom.   If you have any questions or concerns regarding this recent decision, please feel free to contact me at 860 567-7520.  As always, thank you for your continued support.
