CITIZEN ADVISORY COMMITTEES
The Board of Education may appoint an ad hoc advisory committee to assist in the investigation and formulation of new policies and plans of action. The Board will clearly define the committee's purpose and will provide guidelines for study, discussion and reporting procedures.
In general, the Board of Education will form advisory committees when it needs community participation and consultation. The committee will be dissolved when it has completed its assignments or at the discretion of the Board.
