Margaret Dreher
Director of Nutrition Services
Maggie Dreher has been a Director of Child Nutrition Programs for 20 years. She was the director in Watertown for 14 years. Maggie has been the Director of Nutrition Services for the Shared Services Consortium consisting of Avon, Canton and Regional School District #10 for the past six years. Litchfield Schools will be joining this consortium beginning with School Year 2019/2020. Maggie is a past president of the School Nutrition Association of Connecticut. She also serves as a mentor to new directors in the state. Maggie was recognized as the 2017 State of Connecticut Outstanding Director of the year. Her goal for Litchfield’s Foodservice Program is to implement more scratch cooking using local, fresh and minimally processed foods whenever possible.
