Bobcat Nation! Region 20 is proud to announce the launch of The BobCast, a district-wide podcast created to amplify communication, celebrate school community achievements, and offer insight into the daily experiences of students, staff, and leadership across our schools. This new platform is part of our ongoing commitment to transparency, storytelling, and engagement with stakeholders.
Hosted by members of the Region 20 team, The BobCast will feature episodes on a wide range of topics—from academic programs and extracurricular achievements to interviews with teachers, administrators, and community partners. Each episode aims to bring listeners closer to the heart of our schools and celebrate the spirit of Bobcat pride.
"The BobCast provides a meaningful opportunity to connect our broader community with the inner workings of the district in an accessible, engaging format,” said Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Villar. “We’re excited to spotlight the programs, people, and values that make Region 20 a model of collaboration and progress.”
Initial episodes will include features on getting to know our Superintendent, graduation and senior reflections, our award winning AgriScience program, the athletics department and our first spotlight on a school at Plumb Hill Middle School. The BobCast will evolve to include ongoing coverage of academic and extracurricular milestones, district initiatives, and district supported projects.
Community, staff, students and district leaders are encouraged to tune in and share The BobCast with their networks. Episodes are available now on YouTube and linked directly through the Region 20 website. Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @R20Bobcast.
